Course Overview:
Work Safely at Heights is aimed at providing candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge to undertake work at heights safely and competently, covering selection, inspection and safe use of equipment; risk management; and requirements of relevant Australian Standards, company procedures and legislation. The course practically applies these and other safe work practices.

Pre-requisites:
There are no prerequisites however, participants will need to have sound literacy/numeracy skills. No other requirements are needed to enter in Work Safely at Heights Course.

Course Delivery:
Training and assessment is conducted at the South Pacific Employment Institute facility Portion 474, Idubada Road, Idubada, Port Moresby. Upon arrangement, training and courses can be conducted onsite at the premises of industry clients.

Course Outcomes:
Work Safely at Heights is delivered to an Australian standard, and participants will receive a statement of Attainment for Work Safely at Heights (RIIWHS204D) with recognition of completion of Australian Units of Competencies.

Suitable For:
Working at Heights Training  is recommended for those working in Civil Construction, Coal Mining, Drilling, Extractive Industries, Metalliferous Mining or Infrastructure, and will be required to spend a great deal of time as a sentry or stand-by working at heights; whether on scaffolding, EWP or large equipment.
